Jenny Syken of Wilmington, DE was born on October 19, 1990 in Chester, PA. She began skating at the age of two and half with her mom and older sister, Shayna. She now trains and represents Ice Works SC in Aston, PA. She is coached by Liz Manley and Oleg Fediukov. Her choreographer is Lisa Bell.

Although Syken is left-handed, she she skates counterclockwise. Her favorite skater is Liz Manley, her favorite jump is the double axel and she likes the layback spin. Syken's ultimate goal in skating is to win Olympic gold, and she says one of her favorite aspects of skating is being with her friends at the rink.
