2003 US National Novice Men's Bronze Medalist
Tommy Steenberg was born on November 23, 1988 in Honolulu, HI and began skating at age six after watching the 1994 Winter Olympic Games. He is coached by Rob Schupp and Audrey Weisiger, who also choreographs his programs. He skates for the the SC of Northern Virginia. Steenberg says he "enjoys everything about skating" because it is "really fun" for him.
Steenberg, who is from Annandale, VA, likes the triple toe loop jump, and admires Michael Weiss and Sasha Cohen because they are well-rounded skaters. In his spare time, Steenberg likes to play basketball, play the trumpet and the piano, hang out with his friends, read, and surf the Internet. He is 5'4" and attends Robert Frost Middle School.
