Sandra Rucker > Junior Ladies
2003 Southwest Pacific Regional Junior Ladies Champion

Sandy Rucker began skating at the age of four. “It was so hot out in the summer and my mom would take my brothers and I to the mall to cool off. There was an ice rink in the mall, I would sit and watch the skaters for hours begging my parents to let me skate. Finally they said yes!” she explains.

Born Sandra Jean Rucker in Palm Springs, CA on October 29, 1987, she currently lives in Yorba Linda, CA and trains in Riverside, skating for the Rim of the World FSC. She attends Yorba Linda Middle School and is coached by Tammy Gambill. She says Gambill, along with her parents, has had the greatest impact on her skating. Phillip Mills choreographs her programs. In the future, Rucker hopes to either be a coach or a doctor.
