2003 US National Junior Mens Champion

Dennis Phan, of Indio, Calif., was born in Dallas, Tex. on September 8, 1985. He began skating at age eight after his mother took him to the rink. He now trains with Tammy Gambill in Riverside and Lake Arrowhead, Calif. Phillip Mills choreographs his programs. Phan skates for the Los Angeles FSC and attends Palm Desert High School.

Phan is 5’5” and credits his mother and his coach with having had the greatest impact on his skating. In 2000, he received the Betty Sonnhalter Memorial Grant from the Southern California Inter-Club Association.
