Brianna Perry > Junior Ladies
2003 US National Novice Ladies Pewter Medalist

Born on August 16, 1988, Brianna Perry began skating at age three in a rink made by her father in the backyard of their house. Perry, of Marshfield, MA, skates for the Colonial FSC and trains in Cape Cod with Evy and Mary Scotvold. (She was previously coached by Michele Kelley.) Marcy Wannamaker choreographs her programs.

Perry enjoys running, playing basketball, spending time with her friends and family, reading and sleeping. She attends Marshfield High School and says that school is very important to her. She would like to pursue a law degree.

In March 2002, she competed at her first international event, the Copenhagen Trophy, as part of the Young International series. She won the gold medal in the novice event and says that standing on the podium and watching the US flag during the national anthem is her most memorable skating moment.

Perry says she loves to skate because "I have lots of fun and it just feels like nothing else matters."
