Alexandra Patterson of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, was born on August 19th, 1983. Currently training in St. Claire Shores, she is coached by Lindsay Page, Julie Berlin and Maria Mascoto and skates for the St Claire Shores FSC. Her programs are choreographed by Simone Grigorescu and Theresa McKindy. Patterson in 5'5."

Patterson began skating at the age of five, after her father, a former hockey player, took her to a skating session. She immediately fell in love with the sport and has not stopped skating since. She attends Wayne State University and is majoring in fine arts.
