Kimberly Meissner > Junior Ladies
2004 World Junior Silver Medalist
Kimberly Meissner of Bel Air, Md., also known as “Kimmie,” was born on October 4, 1989. She now trains in Newark, Del. with Pamela Duane Gregory at the University of Delaware. Gregory also choreographs her programs. Meissner attends Fallston High School and skates for the University of Delaware FSC.
Meissner, who stands at 4’10”, began skating at age six in 1996. She enjoys reading, horseback riding, skiing, roller-blading and playing the violin. She admires Michelle Kwan.
Meissner made her television debut in January 2003 when she appeared on the telecast of the Chevy Skating Spectacular after winning the Novice Ladies gold medal. Her program was to “Say a Little Prayer” by Aretha Franklin.
