Danielle Kahle > Senior Ladies
2003 US National Junior Ladies Bronze Medalist

Born on April 9, 1989 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Danielle Kahle began skating at the age of five, when she recieved a pair of skates for her birthday. She skates for the All Year FSC and is coached by Frank Carroll and Ken Congemi. Henrik Valentin choreographs her programs. Originally from Thousand Oaks, Calif., she now trains in El Segundo and Simi Valley, Calif. She attends Moorpark High School.

Kahle considers her jumps to be the strongest aspect of her skating, although she would like to get a clean triple lutz and triple flip. She feels her family has had the greatest impact on her skating by always being there for her. She admires Kristi Yamaguchi for her great attitude. She enjoys cooking, sewing, playing tennis and collecting ladybugs.

Says Kahle about her motivation to skate: "I love to go to the ice rink, and am motivated by the progress I make in my skating. My coach and family also motivate me. I love seeing my friends at the rink and watching them in their success."
