Colette Irving > Retired from Junior Ladies
2000 US National Novice Ladies Champion
Irving is best friends with 2000 Junior World Champion, Jennifer Kirk. "My friendship with Jen Kirk has helped her and my skating immensely. We pretty much have parallel lives, so the support we give eachother throughout the dayis major. She gives me a lot of knowledge about various events before I go to them, because she has already been there! I also cherish our friendship because we have so much fun together and Jen is such a great person." Irving also enjoys playing soccer and tennis. She admires Michelle Kwan for her grace on and off the ice. Her programs were choreographed by Diedra Williams. Irving says: "My favorite thing about skating is my performing. I feel very confertable in front of an audience, and enjoy every second of it. That drive to be a great performer sends me back to the rink everyday." Shortly after passing her senior free style test in 2001, Irving retired from skating.
