Don was a member of the USFSA/Chevrolet Scholastic Honor Teams for 2002 and 2003. She that feels skating will always be part of her life, whether it "be skating, coaching or judging." Don, who recieved Duke University's Grand Recognition Award, admires Michelle Kwan for her grace both on and off the ice. She also admires Jennifer Kirk. Her favorite jumps are toe loops and she likes the blade layback spin. Says Don: "There is some sort of magical quality about skating. It is an ethereal sport that meshes beautiful artistry and dynamic athleticism. I love to skate for people and it is a great feeling to know that others enjoy watching you skate."
