DeAnna Clark > Junior Ladies
2001 Midwestern Sectional Novice Ladies Bronze Medalist

DeAnna K. Clark was born on September 9th, 1984 in Jackson, MI. At age six, Clark began skating after taking a class field trip, and soon took part of the USFSA Basic Skills Program. Representing the Summit Skating Club, Clark trains in Dimondale, MI, under the tutelage of Sergei Petrovsky and Lauren Weldon. Her new choreographer, Olga Volozhinskaya, will be giving her a different style on the ice for the 2001-2002 season, as Clark recently passed her Junior freeskate test. She looks up to Scott Hamilton because of the courage and strength he had to overcome all the obstacles he has faced on and off the ice.

Along with skating with her entire family, Clark enjoys swimming. In the future, Clark hopes to study physical therapy. She is currently enrolled in Grande Ledge High School, where she has received academic honors, and will be graduating in 2002.
