Mauro Bruni > Junior Men
2003 Eastern Sectional Junior Mens' Silver Medalist

Mauro Bruni was born on September 7, 1984, in White Plains, NY, and represents the Skating Club of New York. In the summer of 2002, Bruni moved across the country to begin college part-time at the University of Southern California. He trains in El Segundo, CA, and is coached by Ken Congemi and Frank Carroll. Bruni tells Unseen Skaters: "I don't really have any definite long-term goals for my skating, like winning the Olympics or anything like that (although that would be nice!). I've always dreamed of being a precise and consistent skater, and I feel that if I can achieve this, success will come along with it."

Donovan attends Newman Preparatory School and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. She likes the technical aspect of skating, and her favorite moves are the triple loop, triple salchow and layback spin.
