2002 Northwest Pacific Regional Junior Ladies Champion
Samira Banna was born September 21, 1987 in Pueblo, CO. She currently lives and trains in Spokane, WA. Banna, who is home schooled, skates for the Lilac City FSC. Her skating team includes her coach, Berkley Villard, (who she says has had the greatest impact on her skating) and her choreographer, Noreen Clohessy. Her younger sister, Sareen, is also a skater.
Banna began skating at the age of eight when she participated in a USFSA Basic Skills program. Banna, who is 5'0", would like to become an Olympic Gold Medalist. She also enjoys reading, swimming and playing soccer. In addition to skating, Banna plays soccer and was the MVP on her team.
