Lindsey Weber is the 2001 US National Junior Ladies Bronze Medalist. She placed 6th at her first international event this spring, the Gardena Spring Trophy.

Congratulations on reaching your goal of medaling at Nationals. What was the experience like?
It was such a great experience! Being at Nationals is always great, but getting a medal was a goal I have had since I was just learning to skate and it's something I'll always have to treasure! The medal ceremony was the best part though!

What are your goals for this upcoming season?
My goal for this season is to have a very good showing on the Junior Grand Prix, I would like to medal at both my assignments. I would also like to place top eight at Nationals and be named to the Junior World team!

Has your friendship with Tara Lipinski affected your skating? How?
Tara has been a great influence on my skating, she taught me that if you worked hard you can accomplish anything!

What do you think you've improved the most upon since last year, and what do you hope to improve for next season? What should we look forwards to in your programs next year?
I think in the last year my artistic side of my skating has improved tremendously. I have worked really hard on smoothing everything out and being a mature skater. For the next season I would like to take my technical to the next level. I hope to add a triple triple to my program by mid-season. My new programs for this season are a little bit more dramatic!

Of all the skating events that you've skated in, which was the most memorable for you and why?
Nationals was the most memorable! The whole experience was amazing.

What achivement in your skating career are you the most proud of?
I think making it to Nationals four times, and definitely my medal at Nationals! Also representing our country at an international was a great achievment that I was really proud of! So I guess I have a few! I also just the feeling of getting a new jump or doing great at competitions!
